How renting a phone number for SMS works

Quick answer
How do I rent a phone number for SMS?
Create an account with an email and a password, top up at least $10 in crypto, then choose a country and 7, 30 or 90 days. The number appears in your dashboard and every SMS it receives is listed there. Renew before the end date to keep it. Process as of October 2026.
Step 1: what do I need to sign up?
An email address and a password. We do not ask for an ID document, a selfie, a proof of address or a phone number of your own. Use an email you can read: it is how you recover access to your account and how support answers you.
Step 2: how do I add funds?
Open the top-up page, enter an amount of $10 or more and choose a coin and network: BTC, ETH, USDT on Ethereum or Tron, USDC on Ethereum, SOL or LTC. The page shows the address, the exact amount to send and a QR code. Send exactly that amount on that network.
The page then follows the payment on its own. Your balance is credited once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain; how long that takes depends on the network and on how busy it is. There is no "I have paid" button and no transaction ID to type in.
Step 3: how do I choose a number?
Choose a country, then a period of 7, 30 or 90 days. The checkout shows the countries in stock at that moment and the price for each period, taken from your balance when you confirm. A US number costs $8.50 for 7 days and $13.50 for 30 days (all prices).
Step 4: where do I read my SMS?
In your dashboard, on the page of the rental. It shows the number with its country code, the start and end dates, and the list of received texts with their time and sender. The page refreshes itself while the rental is active, so a code that arrives while it is open appears without reloading.
Give the number in its international form, for example +1 for the United States or +44 for the United Kingdom, if a form asks for a country code.
Step 5: how do I keep the same number?
Renew it from the rental page before the end date. Renewal adds 7, 30 or 90 days to the same number and is paid from your balance. If the balance is too low, the page sends you to the top-up and brings you back.
What happens if a service refuses the number?
Some services do not accept virtual numbers, or only accept numbers from certain operators. We cannot change that. Try the number before you depend on it, and if no SMS arrives at all, write to support with the rental reference: the case is handled under the refund policy.
What happens when the rental ends?
The number stops showing new texts in your dashboard. It is no longer reserved for you and may later be rented by someone else. Before the end date, replace the number on any account where you keep it, or renew. The guide what happens when a rental expires has a checklist.
Common questions about the process
How fast is the number ready?
The number is assigned when you confirm the rental from a credited balance, and shown on the rental page. If one is not available right away, the page says so while it is being assigned.
Can I rent several numbers?
Yes, each rental is separate, with its own number, dates and messages. Our acceptable use policy still applies to every rental.
Can I choose the area code?
Not at the moment. You choose the country; the number is assigned from the numbers in stock.
Do I need an app?
No. Everything happens in the browser, on a computer or a phone.
