What does SMSPool's price list say?
The figures come from SMSPool's public rental list, which returns each rental with its country, period and price. The entries we read are its "extendable" rentals; they carry no single-service restriction, which suggests the number receives texts from any service, and they are flagged as refundable, without a rule we could read in plain words. Its website itself was behind a bot check, so we could not read its FAQ, its coin list or its terms.
Where SMSPool is the better choice
For very short or very long single periods: a 1-day US rental at $6, or a UK rental of 360 days for $55, have no equivalent here, where periods are 7, 30 and 90 days. Its price list is also public and machine-readable, which is useful for comparisons.
Where KeepANumber fits better
For more countries with a page each (14, with sourced telecom facts), for lower 30-day prices in the US, UK, Canada and Australia on the dates above, and for a published set of coins that includes USDT on Tron and Solana. Both are crypto-friendly; check the coins you hold.
How to switch without losing texts
- Rent the new number before the SMSPool rental ends.
- On each account, add the new number, confirm it with the code, then remove the old one.
- Add an authenticator app or backup codes where the service allows it.
- Let the old rental end only when no account still uses it.
Questions about switching from SMSPool
Can I move an SMSPool number here?
No. Numbers are not transferable between services.
Does KeepANumber take Monero?
Not at the moment.
Is the scope the same?
Both describe rentals that receive SMS sent to the number. Neither can promise that a given service accepts a virtual number.
